Paper Stock
Socal-Graphix uses the highest quality grade paper out there. We offer paper stocks starting from 14PT and upwards to 48PT. 14PT Mosaic cards come with a premium 14 pt Snow White Card with 2 sided special SILK Lamination.

You have two options of printing, 4/4 and 4/0. 4/4 printing means having both front and back color printed, 4/0 printing is just having the front color printed and the back blank.

The 14PT Mosaica Business Cards come with a Snow White Card with 2 sided special SILK Lamination.

We are offering 4 corner cuts: the standard edge a 1/4” radius and a 1/8” radius.

Colored Edges
At Socal-Graphix.com, we have the option of creating colored edges or painted edges, on your next set of business cards. With over 20+ different colors and styles, you can mix and match creating that ultimate custom look. Colored edges are only available on 16PT card stock or thicker. Colored edges are not available for 14pt mosaic cards.
Colored Edges or Gilded Edges

With printing it is simple, the larger your quantity to print is, the larger discount you will receive.

Turn Around
All orders placed and approved by 12:00 PM Pacific Time will be placed on the printer queue that same day. Shipping business cards takes anywhere from 3 to 10 business days, depending on the location of the recipient. Business days do not include Saturday’s as the printers are turned off, however we do have our customer service representatives available to assist you in any questions you might have. If there is ever a rush for printing please contact our customer service representatives and they will assist you accordingly. Please be advised: For any prints larger than 16PT which require multiple cards and lamination’s, turn around times will be longer as there is more labor work required as well as “dry time.”

What are templates and why do I need to use them?

Here at Socal-Graphix we strive to bring 100% satisfaction to our customers. Templates are pre-made guidelines with the correct sizes and rulers to ensure that your production is as exactly as you propose. With this system, you will be able to create and send us artwork that will accurately printed at the fastest possible speed. If you do not see a specific template size that you are interested in, please contact our representatives and we will email you the desired template.

  • Figure out which size you are interested in using and download the files which will work with the programs you intend to use to design your project.
  • Follow the instructions on the file, noticing the bleeds, the cut lines, and safety zones.
  • Hide the layers or delete them once you are familiar with all the zones.
  • Save your files and upload them.

For best results please follow the following guidelines:
-A minimum of 300 DPI resolution per image: You do not want your resolution to be lower than 300 DPI because then the image will be pixelated and blurry. If your cards do not meet the resolution requirements, Socal-Graphix’s will notify you prior to printing.


-Always use CMYK color palettes: To achieve the best results from the printers, use CMYK colors. CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key or “black”) are the cartridges which the printer’s use, creating the ultimate printing color precision. -For richest blacks, use C: 60, M: 40, Y: 40, K: 100

-Outline all graphics: Before saving your file for print, “Save As” and make sure the print file has been fully outlined and expanded. The reason for this is that our computers might not have the correct fonts or files to replace. Remember, do not save your original file with outlines as you will lose your ability for quick fixes in the future, “Save As” and make a separate print file.
Recommended File Formats

For best results, please upload in either of the file formats:

  • PDF
  • JPEG
  • PSD
  • AI
  • JPEG
  • PNG
  • InDesign

Files should have the following:

  • A 0.125″ bleed zone
  • A 0.125″ safety cut zone
  • A minimum of 300 DPI resolution
  • CMYK color palette
  • All images and fonts outlined and flattened
File Size & Uploading

Please make sure all files are adequate in file size. If you notice your files are too large, try merging layers and flatten the images. If you are still having difficulties, please contact us and one of our representatives will help you out.

Printing Issues

Due to the nature of our business, there are no refunds or returns. All products are custom arts and have no resale value, so we always insure you double and triple check all spellings and edits prior to sending it to print. If there is ever an issue with your order please contact us and one of our customer service agents will assist you. If you have received your product and there are issues which might be in result of the printer, please contact one of our representatives immediately. You may contact us within 2 business days after receiving your order for any request and problems. Socal-Graphix’s may ask that you return the product or take pictures of them as we will need them for further analysis. All orders prior to shipment get a 10 point inspection, making sure there are no printer issues, however we are human and might miss things time to time.

Once you have selected the correct printing option, you will be directed to upload your file. After you have uploaded your file, a payment option will be available. Please select the payment type you wish to use and once completed, Socal-Graphix will receive your file and send you a receipt. This file will be forwarded to a personal project manager, the project manager will approve or disapprove the order depending on the guidelines, once it has been approved it will be sent to our printing queue. After printing is finalized your order will be shipped to your desired doorstep. If you do not have a design, please do not worry, please check out our design packages here.

This option works well if you want to take advantage of timely discount and purchase a product and upload your file later when you have your file ready.
